Numerous buyers that they are using this stick to retrofit the 1UP arcade games because the joystick that comes with it, well, it sucks to put it mildly. Retrofitting this stick into your arcade 1 up MK cabinet is easy. The factory 1 up screws are too short and the hole pattern is not the same for the sticks so you will need new 3/4 inch screws and 2 small flat washers per screw and it will fit nicely. Slight clearancing of the joystick to button is nessacary for this kit. After securing the new joystick bases in place, you will be using the "COM" terminal and the "NO" terminal to make the connections for the new sticks and switches, do not use the "NC" terminal. 187 push on connectors, a pair of crimpers and a pair of strippers, No not that kind LOL! , DO NOT SOLDER the terminals, you will ruin the spring inside the switches! Making note of the wire colors (take a picture) and their position on the control panel, cut the wires from the existing stick at the stick, there are 2 wires of same color to each position, strip the ends of the wires and crimp a. 187 terminal on to each of the wires you just cut.

Repeat for all the others , I suggest you only do 2 wires at a time. They will plug on to the same area of the new stick/switches as they were on the old switches and it does not matter which wire goes where as long as the same colors of wires go to the NO and COM terminals, one on each.
